We’re excited to invite expressions of interest for our upcoming Getting Started with Key Word Sign (Basic Workshop) — a practical and engaging training designed to help you support communication using signs and gestures. Whether you're a parent, educator, support worker, or allied health professional, this workshop is ideal for anyone looking to build inclusive and supportive communication strategies.
Our Key Word Sign Trainor, Emily Northcott is planning for future workshops. Emily is a former teacher, a Behaviour Analyst and MICAH Case Manager. She is also passionate about AAC and inclusion across all sectors of peoples lives.

Up to 80 Key Word Signs and natural gestures
The principles and benefits of Key Word Sign (KWS)
How KWS works alongside other communication systems
The differences between KWS and AUSLAN
